Getting Involved
There are a number of ways to get involved with the WOTS project.
1. Being a volunteer street team member. We are looking for enthusiastic people who can commit to at least one Saturday evening per month to come and help out on the bus. No experience needed, just enthusiasm! Volunteers are offered training, a full induction and need to complete a CRB check (free of charge).
2. FUNdraisers! As a charity we rely on the generosity of grant-makers, other charities and individuals. We often run fundraising events and are keen to find people who would like to plan and run some of these (cake-sales, entertainment events, car-boot sales etc.). We are also really keen to receive donations from people which you can find out more about by visiting our ‘Donating’ page.
3. Supporters. We are looking for local people who can support us. You can do this by being committed to spreading the word about WOTS, by attending fundraising events, by even baking some cakes for the young people popping in on a Saturday night. Our supporters receive up-to-date news of our work and invitations to exciting events and activities!
